A few months before the London 2012 Olympics a Key Note press release announced that the UK Corporate Hospitality Market fell by 2.5% to 1.b billion between 2007 and 2011. However, the same press release remained hopeful about the market’s ability to gradually recover in the aftermath of the Olympics and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Although Corporate Hospitality was controversial and sales did not quite meet the expected targets at the Olympics now, almost a year after the Olympics venues such as the First Direct Arena in Leeds experienced high levels of interest in the venue’s corporate hospitality that made them beat all sales projection.

The Midlands Business Insider magazine this month features an article that talks about the slow but sure come back that corporate hospitality is making. Our manager Emma Jennings speaks out about the challenges and rewards of corporate hospitality from the point of view of the venue.
