A helping hand…

What’s the best way to help  a family in need? To bake some cakes of course! With a company donation made, it was time for thestudio staff to lock horns in an epic battle of sugar dusting and piping.

Did someone say cake?

Acting as our very own Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, Jennifer Chin (Community Fundraiser) and Lucy Watkins (Events Manager) of Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice had the pleasure of sampling all of our scrumptious treats. The spread was laden with show stoppers: Florentines, Apricot & Almond Tart, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Traditional Polish Apple Cake and Portuguese Custard Tart just to name a few… There was more! With a display of culturally infused flavours combining fresh ingredients, this bakers’ buffet couldn’t have represented thestudio food ethos any better.

The verdict is in…

IT Director Lawrence Cairns- Smith’s 24 Carat Carrot Cake and Receptionist/Social Media Assistant Jyoti Banga’s Strawberry and Lemon Cake met their match as they were declared joint Star Bakers!
