thestudio… joins beam – shining a light on the meetings and events industry

As recovery continues and our venues are busy once more we’re delighted to have joined beam (formerly HBAA), the trade association for the business events, accommodation and meetings industry.
beam is a collective voice of the industry and membership is acknowledged as a hallmark of quality assurance throughout the meetings, events and travel industries.
This new industry association complements our existing memberships with the Meetings Industry Association and Venues of Excellence.
Being a part of beam gives thestudio an opportunity to broaden our ability to share ideas and discuss best practice amongst our peers within the industry and invest in teams through a wide ranging educational events programme.
Crucially conditions of membership includes agreeing to the beam ‘code of practice’ and ‘terms of ethics’, including commitments to our teams and the environment. This follows thestudio being awarded the ECOsmart Gold accreditation further strengthening our commitments to the environment and sustainability and is addition to our Meetings Industry Association ‘Accredited in Meetings’ accreditation.
We’re really looking forward to being an active member over the coming months!
